im sorry guys but ivee been searching and got nothing


i have a obd 1 b16 in a 96 ek... i also have a 96 integra ls obd2a (idk wat ecu it is).. i need to get my car inspected.

i was wondering if i can throw in the ls ecu in the civic and and just drive it for about 2 days... will i run into problems?? i really would like to kno since both cars are obd2a. if this does not work..yes i kno to get a obd2a p30 p72/gsr or itr.... thanks honda-tech

I don't think it will run correctly.. i put a b16 ecu on an ls before and it killed the car at idle.. You could try it and if it runs it'll be ok.. it won't mess anything up but it'll let you know real quick if the motor will keep running..

 

ok..as long as i wont dry anything or eff up any of the sensors or fuses.... can some one with the knowledge confirm this please

the ls ecu will not run the B16 corectly. like diff fuel and ign timing. the risk is yours. just dont do it long
