I have a 1997 civic cx, just but a 97 jdm b18c type r into it. i used my old harness and just swapped the pluggs. I wired th iacv, vtec selinoid, and knock sensor, and changed one olther plug on intake manifold. everything else plugged in except a crankshaft sensor but i dont think the b18 has that.

My car turns over but will not start it has air spark and fuel what do you thin it could be? thanks

 

are the plug wires on right?

what ecu your using?

using the jdm p73 ecu , ill have to check on the distributor tomorrow pretty sure the plugs are right but not positive

i dont need to do the ckf bypass trick if im using that ecu do I?

if the ecu is obd2 then yes you do

 

do you need to if its a jdm ecu
and my ecu doesnt have an immobilizer in it right??

 

yes you need it with a jdm ecu

and that shouldn have nothing to with not starting up

just check the plug wires are right and if thats good do the ckf thing and it should start right up
