do you think this could run 12's?
a guy i know has an HB (STD) with an LS/vtec motor: stock b16 head with skunk 2 stage 1 cams, wiseco 81.5mm pistons (12:1), eagle rods, jun cam gears, skunk2 chipped ECU... he says he should be able to hit 12's with that setup on slicks, im guessing he meant with full interior.. what do you guys think?
i know it depends on the driver and all, but it doesnt seem comparable to other cars with setups that are hitting 12's. he hasnt dynoed it yet but is guessing it would make at least 215 whp.. and even that im not sure of.

12's would be fairly easy to achieve in 2000 lbs car with 215 at the wheel. I have a friend doing 13.0's at 102 with basically a stock b18c1 motor. I guess it will come down to driving the car but he should be in teh 104 mph and higher range with that setup.

with the right slicks, driving, and gearing, you can run 12's in your everyday full interior hatch easier than you think. my hatch weighted around 2350 with driver, made 200 to the wheels and ran 12.5. you can run 12's with probably 175 to the wheels. maybe less. providing you have a 1.8 liter or bigger.
I disagree. An empty 92 hatch (no interior) with 190 whp is only good for 13.0-13.1 on slicks and a good driver. Are you guys driving at the bottom of death valley?

you need some driving lessons...
power to weight is key,
b18c1 skunk ecu,skunk intake manifold,dcsport 4-1 header
12.1 @ 107 car and driver 1640 22x8 slicks.
EvilGSR, your my hero.. i want a GSR integra that goes 14.1 with intake/exhaust... !!!!!

lets see, 210 crank hp = about 175-180 whp.
WE know this is good for 13.09, right?
Scho, you need to catch up!
BTW meet Mike Schofield, part of the AKSC crew, you'll learn soon enough!

Whats popin. Dont forget, I dynoed at 152 hp to the wheels and 118 of tq. My traps are only 94 mph that shows I got no hp, but all shifting and hooking. Thanks for the compliment.
