Default same problem different day

sup honda-tech.r's

im having trouble with my 02 censors.
the engine light comes on and i can feel the engine bogging down while im driving.

ok here goes this is my o2 censor setup on my 90 ls engine in an SI,
both of my o2 censors are single wire, dont know if some come with dual wires.
Both of the censor wires are connected together, then another wire is connected to both of those wich is connected to my SI harness.
does this make any sense to anyone and is there a better way for this connection
to happen?

but my main concern is, it giving me the engine code because of the way it is wired
or because the censors are just bad..

could the 2 censors be in some way canceling one another out?

for sure im gonna replace the censors but i would like some help on this befor i go and disconnect anything.

i will post some pics 2marrow when i get home from work.

i think pretty much all headers have 2 spots for o2's cause they fit many cars...

Im pretty sure that you only need one i woud change the one closes to the head, and just unplug the other one. Got to the parts store and they can tell for sure howmany ya have for a 90 ls.

its not vtec right??

b16 has 2 sensors...thought the b18 had one? i would just leave #1 hooked up to the harness and disconnect the other. see if your code goes away.

if it needs 2 sensors like the b16 then you need to run an extra wire to the ecu

what was the other sensor hooked up to? and what code are you getting? a code 1? what ecu are you running? because you can run an obd1 ecu with a b18a just fine and that will require 2 o2 sensors..

here might be ur problem. the d-series non vtec motor for th efs run a single wire o2 sensor. ur running two sensore splice together. one is reading different the other and is confusing the ecu. replace o2 sensor nearest to the head with a honda oem o2 sensor reset ur ecu and u should be good

Your obd0 your ganna need 2 o2 sensors singal wire. Now you need to wires them both up with SEPERATE wires to the ecu. Also i would go to autozone and get to universale o2 sensors for 90-93 acura integra. And replace yours. Reset the ecu and go from there.

PM6 ECU=one single-wire O2 sensor (other one not needed)
Universal single-wire O2= 17 bux at parts counter.
Swapped CRX without a CEL= priceless.
(You are losing a lot of power by using the PM6 ECU, you need a PR4)

code 13 is a barometric pressure sensor code. the sensor is located like above the ecu in the kick panel. its what gives your map sensor a base reading to compare to. if its messed up or unplugged that would explain a lot. but sense you are using the incorrect ecu i'm gonna go out on a limb and assume thats where the majority of your problems lie. get an obd0 pr4 then see how she runs.

Looked like a code 13 on his ecu video.
I personally am having the same problems with my LS swaped crx. But I only have 1 o2 sensor. Hope you find out what the problem is so I can fix this myself.

ok from all the info everone has povided i finally brought myself to think of a few things i hadnt before ...

1. i most likely have the wrong headers wich have 2 sensors.

2. i have the wrong ecu.. in need of obd0 pr4.
but i dont see how having the wrong ecu would give m a code 1.

now if i do need the 2 sens. im gonna ask

traxxasx to do a write with details on that..

so i went to schucks and picked a uni. sensor.
and installed it.

supplies

installed and soldered some xtra 12 gauge to it.

connected to harness
