Default slow car

ok so ive done a few swaps in my civic and everytime i do it the motor is slow as **** and i have no idea why this could be.

swaps ive done:
b16 turbo
ls-vtec turbo
b20-vtec

mods: stage 1 clutch, fidanza flywheel, molbro fuel pump, skunk 2 mani, headers...

you know the basic setup that most everyone has, now im not saying with this setup i should be crazy fast, ive only really wanted to be quick, low 14's with a b20 vtec shouldnt be to much to ask for. and its not just "the driver" the car is just lame or something...and i know i should tune my car but i dont have the money at the moment so that wont be for a while

im running a stock b16 ecu most of the time

the funny thing is the car runs good, no codes nothing like that

but its SLOWWWWWWWWWW!!!

wtf should i do other then sell my car and go buy a new car

example of how slow i am

racing my friends stock b16 swapped eg and he pulled on the freeway vs my b20 vtec em1, b20vtec should never get pulled on by a b16

its almost time for me to give up

Save your money, and when you have enough, spend it on tuning. You're wasting your time and money with this if you're not willing to get it tuned. The B20Vtec will run lean with a B16 ECU. That will rob you of power, and eventually lead to a blown motor. You'll need some sort of aftermarket engine management (chipped OBD1 ECU with adapter harness, or plug and play system like AEM/Hondata converted ECU with OBD2 plugs) and some bigger injectors to tune a B20Vtec properly.

Why are you wasting your time and ours? It's plain and simply needing to be tuned. I have a straight B20B (not Vtec) in my 89 Civic, and it is pretty fast and fun to drive. A big part of why this is, is because it is "tuned". Spend some time and money getting it tuned, and if it's still "slow" come back and see us.
