Removing transmission?
I am removing my transmission from a 95 B18C1. My question is which bolts do I remove? I am assuming they are the large ones (size ?) with two located under the engine. Is this correct? If anyone can give me a quick 1,2,3 I would appreciate it.
Remove the axles, the flywheel cover, the starter, the rear bracket, and the slave cylinder. The reverse light plug needs to be unplugged and there's one ground wire that runs to the frame rail that needs to come off as well. There are several 17mm bolts that hold the bell housing to the engine block that will need to be removed in order to physically separate the tranny from the block. Remove the upper tranny mount (but not without both the engine and tranny supported somehow), lower the whole thing down a bit, and work the tranny off of the motor.
