jack car up (secure on jackstands)
take front wheels off.
disconncet battery
remove 4 upper bolts on transmission
disconnect VSS and starter cables.
remove the starter
take out the clutch slave cylinder
disconnect o2 sensor from connector
remove header
remove the axles
remove the engine stiffener brackets. (2 of them)
remove the flywheel cover
revome shift linkages.
remove the 2 lower bolts that hold the transmission to the block.
secure the engine, i put a jack under the oilpan with 2 blocks of wood
secure the transmission to somthing, i.e. a transmission jack.
disconnect the transmission from the tbracket (rear mount)
disconnect the upper and lower transmission mounts
put a flathead screwdriver between the block and the transmission and gentlly pry.
lower on transmission jack that was placed under it.

that should be about it, if i missed somthing let me know.
its harder than i made it sound
if you have never done this before, buy a helms...

shift linkages?
And get a new compression pin to replace the old one.

You don't have to remove the axles. Just pull the shock assembly out, separate the LCA from the hub, pop the axels out of the box and swing them out of the way. (I think this is what Kamin meant, I just wanted to clarify before you fight the 32mm nuts)
