Prying/removing tranny from engine
All bolts have been removed and tranny is free, but I can't get it off the engine using pry bars. Don't want to damage engine, what should I use and where is a good spot to try and pry things open in order to seperate tranny for removal.
Thanks

did you take off the flywheel dust cover? Also there is a bolt under the starter. Finally if that fails check all bolt holes agian and make sure you did not skip one. Once they are all out it should not be hard to get it off unless the car is way unlevel
oh and you have to take the mount bracket on th back of the motor off

Did you remove the starter? And there is a bracket on the back of the tranny that connects to the block. If that fails use a rubber mallet and just bang on the corners of the tranny to jar it loose
just took mine out tonight...mine was a lil more involved just because i had to take the whole axle assembly out due to my gay axle nut taht wouldnt come off, but yea just make sure ya got every bolt out..then just slide the tranny out..
