Default B16 TROUBLE HELP

i have a 97 civic ex with a b16a2 in it and my problem is that when i try to crank it up it back fires really bad and it doesn't turn on if any one has any ideas on what it could be please help me out!!

check the rotor inside the distributor i had the same problem in my gsr the lil screw that holds it in place came out.....

did it shoot out flames from the intake manidfold cause when i gave it gas to crank it did that

Maybe the wires are on the wrong order on the distributor, might be the distributor rotor, but that weird flame out of the intake sounds like your car might be way off timing maybe? Ignition with intake valves still open? Just guessing here. . . good luck!

idk maybe cause it all happen because my main wiring dash harnes burnt so i had to replace every harness and the ecu and now it does thins....so idk....
