Ok. Im going to a casino everything is good. i come out of the casino and my car doesnt start. got a new distributor and it works. I go to the casino another day and this time thats not the problem. Everything sparks up and and i have a half tank gas. all engine fuses have been replaced and i still havent figured it out. My friend says Its the timing belt and it jumped somehow. when i took off the distributor cap to look at the spinning plate(circle thing right when you take the cap off) it doesnt move. this i know means the timing is off. but how could it work 1 minute and then get to a point where its not even close to being timed?

the rotor (circle thing) will not spin the the distributor on the car

is it another broken distributor? if it is it sounds like you have a short in your wiring that is causing the distributor to ground out and fry the wires

try borrowing an LS dizzy from a friend to see if it will work

 

what it trying to say is dont go to casino anymore and the car will not die out on you

my uncle was coming home from a casino once, he made 450$, a block from his house, he hit a nasty pot hole, and cracked the tranny case. Cost of tranny from the wreckers 400$, case of Blue light 40$, profit from the casion 10$ ....getting drunk after changing a tranny...priceless
