Default engine oil

Im getting ready to complete a top engine build. im running pro1 cams and ive been seeing some threads about larger cams eating up the rocker pads. I was curious to know if there were any synthetics out there that had more zinc or phosphous in them to help lubricate the valvetrain. Is there an oil additive that can be purchased?

from what i have read on here
STP blue is good for the zink,

kendall oil leaves engines looking good in the inside,

Castrol syntec euro formula 0w-30 oil is one of the best over the counter oils you can buy AP3 rating along with the 0w-40 Mobile1, they both have the same flash point/rating or something to the effect

for now i am runing 10w30 kendal blend with stp blue. after my next dyno tune and 200 miles i'm making the switch to syntec euro formula and stp blue.

Kendal is my favorite non-synthetic.

I still prefer Mobil1 for my synthetic even after I have been shown that Redline is hands down the best. I have heard good things about the Castrol Euro formula though...

where can you purchase the EURO castrol? Do they also sell different weights? I know its over the counter, but how could you tell the difference If its EURO or regular castrol?

hopefully it will be relatively soon. I'm due for my first oil change after switching to synthetic next month and i want to send a sample off to be tested so i know the contents. I will add it once i have that information.

nice.

I've used the SR1 and their MTF. I didn't send mine to blackstone though, so I'm interested to read your results.

Kendall 10-30 Syn.blend for 2.12$ at Autozone and STP blue has worked wonders for me!

Also look for the "Made in Germany" label.

The kendall you're referring to is not the same as the old (way better) stuff. Its now called Brad Penn.
