Eagle rods for sure, as for pistons a lot of people all swear by different brands. There is Wiseco, JE, Arias...etc... From what I hear they are all decent, perhaps someone who knows more on pistons will chime in.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'slowly' building your engine. To "build" it you have to take the entire engine out of the car and if you had to ask this question I think you would probably want to take it to a shop and have them build it for you. While your building it you might want to pick up a cheap daily driver as your car will be out of commision for quite awhile. That or buy an extra block.

As for your boost kit there are tons of parts just to name a few
turbo, turbo manifold, downpipe, wastegate and dumptube, prolly wanna upgrade your exhaust too, blow off valve, charge piping, intercooler, oil lines, water lines if your turbo is water cooled, gauges to moniter your motor, bigger injecors, walbro 255, and the most important ENGINE MANAGEMENT.

Seriously the list goes on and on and on. A lot of your setup depends on what whp you are shooting for. For the most part don't buy any ebay stuff. It might take you longer but do plenty of research and peice together your own kit you can find quality used parts in the marketplace.

If you want just a little extra power you might want to stick to bolt-ons. After you learn a bit you can always do more later. All the information is on this site just start looking and searching. Hope I gave you a little start.
