Rebuilding engine for Turbo
I'm new to rebuilding engines. What are the key things i'm gunna need to replace for a high amount of boost, I would also like to know what I will have to replace to up my redline?
I'm gunna be working with a GSR engine.

Might want to start with your "S", "E", "A", "R", "C", and "H" keys, unless they're broke- your answers will be found

What do you mean by high boost? Sleeves, pistons, rods, bearings, valvetrain, fuel system, a few gauges, engine management & custom kit should make you safe for "high boost".

as far as the block goes, sleeves, rods and pistons.
as far as raising redline, you need to work on the head. valves,retainers, springs

You'd be better off spending sleeving money on a good bore/hone job and an aftermarket ECU. Unless you have a H22. My 0.0020..

No he is saying that not everybody should buy sleeves when they are boosting. Its just a new bandwagon. If you are only making 200whp there is no need for sleeves. What is really important is your engine/fuel management which will keep everything together if a tune is good.

agreed, there are people pushing over 400 on stock internals...Tuning/EMS is VERY important..
