Ok so I have a 91 GS and occasionally its will not start. It turns over and everything but doesnt start. So if I just let it sit for a little (about a min) it will usually start. But when it does quite a bit of white smoke comes out...then it runs perfect without smoking or anything once its started. Whats the deal? bad seals? fuel pump on the fritz? help me out guys im about to put a new clutch in and dont really need more probelms.

 

start out with your basic test man. do a compression test. check your distrubtor. plugs, wires. make sure your fuel pump is coming on .check your fuses i could goo on for hours . Search it up its really the best way to learn .

 

I was just wandering if anyone has had this same problem or not.

 

isnt white smoke a blown headgasket

 

could be... anyone know?
