Default LS Crank position Sensor (CKP)

I checked my codes and it had 4 flashes (crank positin sensor <CKP&gt.
I think i found the harness for it, but how do u fix or replace the Sensor. Is it through timing tensioner or do u have to replace the whole sensor. I searched for this but i came up with nothing. So if there is a post can u please let me know. Thanx

it should be below the crank pulley but you have to pull the lower timing cover to get to it so the crank pulley will have to come off to get to it.

i am going through the same problem with my gsr... does anyone know of a way to by pass the sensor so i can drive it to the honda dealer instead of getting it towed and if it is by passed will it harm anything

no bypass its the sensor that tells the ecu
when piston number 1 is TDC

K, im almost sure it was/is my piston #1. thats the one i had a spark plug problem with. so does it just need to be tuned again.? and can that make the distributer go out? Cuz no the engine turnes over but doesnt start at all, and backfires. so intern its undriveable. let me know what u think
