Tech: Gas smell after fill, Code 90
I had an issue arise at Expo. Inside cabin smells of gas/fumes after fill up, etc. The car threw a code 90 on the first day of the event. After returning home(and deciding to sell the car) I reset the ECU after I removed my header/catback etc. The car went 1200+ miles before throwing the code 90 again.
At Expo, Jack took a look at the car and he mentioned it may be the Purge solenoid. I have purchased this unit from a member parting a car, but for the life of me I cannot find the piece. I have been looking through the helms and I can't see the solution to the issue or find the piece. I have pulled the lower plastic below the fuel tank and the cover inside the cabin. So far no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.

If I remember right Code 90 means in plain terms lost of fuel tank pressure.
Same as you would drive without the gas cap on.
or the purge failing which is on the charcoal canister i believe.
Did you have any stereo amp(s) installed? possibly might drilled a screw through the fuel tank? leading to the smell of fume in the cabin.

No amps etc. The fuel cap was the first step, since it was cheap/easy. $12 from Son's Acura. I thought it had fixed it since the old cap was loose, and it took so long for the code to come back.
If you smell fumes in the cabin then you would have a leak. since it take a while for the code to pop up it would be a small leak.
the gas tank is located in the rear truck. the fuel line runs under the passenger or driver side. I don't remember. so what i was saying did you or the previous owner ever remove anything from the cars like amps, boom box, or anything that was screw down, but removed. the reason I'm asking is the fume smell is leading me to believe you a hole in the cabin and tank/line puncture. so look at the fuel tank area to see if any hole left by screw. I seen a few cars with fuel tank puncture from people installing and removing stereo stuff or anything thing else they tried screw down in the trunk or under the seat.

I understand your point. However, I'v owned this car 4.5 years. Early on it had an amp, but it was fastened to the rear seats and later to the sub enclosure. I'm currently debating taking it a show for a smoke test of fuel lines etc.
The fuel pump has been removed/replaced ~3 years ago when trouble shooting a code 45 issue. (too lean) I looked at the lines last night trying to eye any isssues. I'm off work so I will take a closer look.
