I have a 00 civic ex with a b18b, i keep throwing code 90, which is leak detected in fuel tank area. Someone told me to reset ecu and then drive for 3 miles over 50mph to get rid of any pending codes and others told me its a gas cap. The car is away for the winter and i want to get it situated before spring when i have to get it inspected. When i reset the ecu it takes a little while before it comes back on, about 20-30 miles of driving.Any help would be great

 

your gas cap probably is not sealing right.
