60-1/t3 or t04e/t3??
I am going to be running a custom kit on a gsr motor. I am trying to run 11's stock block in my 93 CX with it. Since I am keeping the block stock, I dont wanna run too high of boost, about 10psi. I was wondering if the 60-1 will make more power than the t04e at this boost level. I am hoping for around 300whp. I will have hondata and a good fuel setup as well. I suck at searching so if the answer is in another post, then by all means, feel free to link me. TIA..
I think that jinx is running just "stock" sleeves, with forged internals. Im talking never cracking the head. Not even the valve cover, no thicker headgasket or **** like that. Any other opinions are welcome..
I'm running a 60-1 on a stock b18b. If you're aiming to keep boost at no more than 10psi, i'd stick with a t3/t04e. But if your plans call for more boost in the future, i'd go with the 60-1. If you go with the 60-1, get the .63 A/R on the exhaust side.
a 60-1 will not make any power for you at 10 pounds....I think if you want to boost 10 pounds and only want 300whp...get maybe a t3/t4e with a 54trim....

Thanks for the replies. I didnt think the 60-1 would be as efficient. I guess I will just go with the t3/t04e....57 trim and .63 a/r. Stage 3 wheel. I think its possible to run high 11's on slicks with a light *** car and enough horsepower(300whp + 2000lbs)
