Default '97CR-V overheat:

Having problem with overflow bottle fills to the top bubbling and engine runs hot,what's the solution to that problem?

When the CR-V is cold take the radiator cap off and start it for just a second. If you get an instant geyser you have a blown head gasket. If not check to make sure both fans are running with the a/c on.

When all the stuffs are in charge inside your ride, all of them are turned on. When engines are always up and maintenance have been taking a long time and you often clean your parts especially the a/c and the blowers.

My 2.4 four did this going up Mt. Washington road. It ended up being the thermostat was bad.
