Default Car is running too cold?

Just got done replacing the head gasket. When idling the temp. is near the half way mark which is pretty normal. However, when the car starts to move and the radiator gets some air, the temp goes all the way to the Cold mark. I was thinking it might be the thermostat or the temp. sensor. I was having the same problem before replacing the head gasket. I want to fix this before having another head gasket problem. Anyone knows what the problem is?

The thermostat. Change it and see what happens.

It sounds like your thermostat is stuck open. If it can't close (or close enough), too much water will flow through the radiator and make the engine run cold. Change that thermostat ASAP. Otherwise, you will kill your cat due to rich running (the ECU will see that the engine is cold and send it a rich 'start-up' mixture at all times) . Also, tolerances will be too loose with a cold engine, accelerating wear.

stock setup.

I changed it out yesterday and it's fine now. Thanks all.

I just need to figure out the code 43, the only thing I haven't tested out is the ecu.

Reset your ECM. The 43 might be left over from when your thermostat was stuck and it ran rich.

reset ecu. Tried another ecu yesterday and still have code 43.

The previous owner had a A/F gauge hooked before, so I might have to check to make sure all the wires near the ecu is secured. Not sure what else there is.

Replaced fuel pump
2 O2 sensors
fuel injectors
fuel filter
fpr

Check D14 wire on ECU pin outs.
