Default F20B swap...I'm retarded * HELP!! *

Hey all.

I'm in the middle of an F20B swap into an EK and I'm stuck on the damn axles...well, the passenger side axel in particular. Anyway, I've read the posts about using 90-93 Integra outer shafts and the Prelude inner and that's what I did. The problem is that they are still too long...like close to an inch too long.

I was thinking that maybe my Avid mount kit was off but the valve cover is only like 1/4" away from the driver side shock tower so it really can't move over more.

Are there any shorter axel combinations I could try? People were saying 88-89 Integra axles for the driver side but my issue is the passenger side. DAMMIT!! I'm so close.

Much appreciated to anyone that can shed some light on this for me.

Umm...thanks or the reply, but if you would have read my post, you would see where I've got driver's side axels that fit and I'm using 90-93 teg outer and prelude inner joint on the passenger side and it won't fit (too long).

Anyone?

Again, I have no issues with the driver's side axel or mid-shaft. It's the passenger side axel that doesn't fit.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by kjlindgr &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Again, I have no issues with the driver's side axel or mid-shaft. It's the passenger side axel that doesn't fit.</TD></TR></TABLE>

And I think what vtecb18c is asking is if you are using an automatic or manual mid shaft on the passenger side(the side you are having trouble with).

The passenger side axle is not affected by the midshaft - period.

Passenger side axle fitment will be affected by the mount kit for the engine, and the CV axle itself.

I'm sorry I can't help you on why it's not fitting, but I thought I'd try to make it clear to the other guys that the intermediate shaft only affects the DRIVER side CV axle/fitment.
