im throwing up the tdc sensor code? does anyone know how to fix it or what to look for?

 

it refrences to the ECU when the engine hits TDC in the cylinders.
it then uses that to send the spark timing. I know it does more...

 

TDC stands for top dead center. You set everything to TDC when replacing a timing belt or installing new cams/gears. If you don't your car will not function properly. Grab a helms, look for the code and name. Then find the sensor location off the helms and replace if necessary.

Did you have to replace the distributor? If so, did it resolve your problem?

 

I was getting the same code, I replaced my distributor and reset the ecu and no more codes.
