Default 97 Integra TROUBLE CODE!!!!!!!

the code is p1362 ... something about ignition misfire

has anyone had this problem ? and what did u do to fix it? i looked in my trouble code book and one thing they say it would be...is the crank sensor....u guys think that sounds right? any input is appreciated

are you sure that is the right code
according to a website.
P1362 Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor A (Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor) No Signal
P1362 Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor No Signal
That will be your Camshaft position sensor located inside the distributor.
Have you done a timing belt job.

havent touched the timing belt at all....its my friends car and with the check engine...he will not be able to pass inspection

if you have an engine light.
car will never pass.
just replace the camshaft position sensor in the distributor.
is not sending a signal to the ECU

yeah found out it is one of those sensors...but its the crankshaft sensor...theres like 3 of them...cam, top dead center, crank but according to the dealership service guy...he said that they dont have the camshaft sensor in these years or something..instead they used the crankshaft sensor : /
