Default Tri-Y header installation...

Hello from Chile. I bought a Tri-Y header for my ls Integra and have a question about the installation

Do you have to weld the two parts? I heard that some people do and others do not...

I'm not sure, I want to install it soon but maybe in short time have to remove it to install another perfomance parts...and the welding....

Thanks

no need to weld, just fit them in the tubes, i mean u can if u wanted to, but i think thats more of a personal preferance.

Thanks.
I know it can be installed without welded with the nuts and bolts, but I have heard about some problems with leak...

...But weld it would be much more difficult to remove it after....

depending on what motor you're putting it on you might need to modify things to get it to fit....i had to shave my block a little bit and remove the flywheel cover for it to fit right...just giving you a heads up

Just to give you a heads up. If I were you, I would modify your flywheel cover to MAKE it fit. Ive gotta SMSP tri y and all 4 runners are side by side under then oil pan. Ive also got a Moroso 5qrt oil pan. I removed the FW cover to accomodate the pan and the header. I had a rock fly up in there and puncture the trans case. Of course, I caught it and saved the ITR trans before it was too late.

weld it. last thing you need is to find out it leaks then you have to take it off again to weld it
