Default header install

K, so my header finally came today, nothin special, just a ceramic coated knock-off of the DC sports...it was cheap, not lookin for a huge gain, just a little somethin...didn't cost much so i dont expect much

anyhow, im gonna put it on this weekend, looks like a pretty straightforward install to me, but does anyone have any tips or advice from experience?

i read in some articles that you have to remove the fan? is this really necessary? or can i squeeze the stock header past it [this one is a 2 piece]

thanks!

I think its a LOT easier if you can jack the car up high enough to remove it from the bottom.

Spray on some WD-40 or other lubricant ahead of time on all the bolts. Dem thangs are hard to take off sometimes.

Also don't forget the braket bolt to on the side of your stock manifold on the right.

dont worry, you can reuse the donut from your old header, its jus there to prevent exhaust leaks. Make sure you have a o2 sensor tool handy, and have patience, theres not much room down there for leverage
