Man, it feels like I ran into every problem I could run into. Now, I have rewired the headlight with the three prong bulbs. First of all, I need new bulbs. They definitely aren't H4 bulbs. Any one know what they are and where to get them? Second, I got the lights to work but the low beam is not so bright and the high beam seems like my stock low beam. Help? I know the wiring to the bulbs is correct. Tested and retested...then I got an electrician to test them. Maybe I have to adjust the height of the housings? How? Third, when the lights are on low beam, the light in the dash (that normally indicate that you are using the high beam) is lit very dimly, then normal bright when I turn on the high beam. What the heck is going on. Can anyone help? Seriously, I don't want to run over something at night and ruin my front bumper. HAHA! Wouldn't that just be a waste of a conversion.....

 

i think u have a shorted wire somewhere

 

Actually, my fuse on my right low beam was fried. It took me a while figure that out because everything was working except for the right low beam....I thought it was wiring. I checked wiring. The stock headlights worked great. I don't understand. I'll check again but is there any other ideas for me to look at while I am it tomorrow?

They are JDM bulbs. Check out http://www.jdmspecperf.com I think Leo has some PIAA bulbs. that will work

 

JHP sells them, IL4, bla bla they're just jdm H4s. My beef is that I can't get stock jdm H4s, they have to be Raybrig or some aftermarket brand. I really like the stock color of Honda headlights; I really like not being noticed at night for "not-quite-HIDs". Plus they're like $85/pair.

 

Seriously, these bulbs are expensive. Is there any alternative to spending 85 bucks for bulbs besides driving at night with a Maglite zip tied to your front bumper?

 

did u solder all conections???is there a way someone in japan land could buy these bulbs and say send em to me hypothetically speaking???

Just let all know....it's been fixed. The wiring was messed up going to the bulb. It worked but not like it should have. On the H4 (H4H), the left pin (looking at the back of the clip) is ground. The top is low beam and the right is high beam. PERFECT!
