Default knocking out a cat

jus curious if anyone has ever knocked out the screens in a cat on a 92-95 civic cause a guy at work did it on his 86 accord and didnt get a c.e.l. and got some more power, but i wanna kno if i will throw a c.e.l. since my car is a 92 si???

obd1...it takes alot to make the cel come on, emission wise...i dont even think there is an o2 sensor in the cat if its a 92...

they buy the stuff knock out of cat for metal...just go buy another high flow cat ...

it doesn't throw a c.e.l. But why would you want to pollute more for a small gain of power?

Right and fixed

OP this isn't worth the trouble of tearing apart your exhaust for +1.1 hp and +10 db sound. And + emissions too LOL...
