ive been having this weird problem , when its cold it runs normal but when its fully warmed up th idle sinks low. then when i take off it feels like theres a 800 pound guy in the back seat, no cels and the compression is good across the board. any ideas?
Check your timing. Make sure your idle is adjusted properly. Make sure your IACV and ECU is reset after adjustment. If that doesn't work report back.
I would say your ignition timing could be off by a few degrees (retarded) in my opinion, given I suffered from a similar situation. My idle after adjustment sits at 800 pretty steadily after warm up now with advancement of timing.
Try advancing your idle +2 degrees and see if that cleans things up. Remember if your obd1 your service connector needs to be jumpered in order for the adjustments to take affect.
Oh, does your car back fire a touch too, when its really warm out? A bit of a "put put" here and there?

I checked the timing and was set to 18degrees, although i'm not sure what the service conector is? which means I didn't do it correctly. But by moving the dizzy to 18degrees, how do I correct it now?

Maybe Idle is set too low. So, Idle is OK when cold air intake valve is opened. Try setting the idle speed after warm up (recessed screw on passenger side of intake manifold).
The probable cause for the whole problem is that the timing belt may have slipped a notch. It sounds like the whole system is out of time.
