i recently swap a b16a3 in to my eg,it seems to die when i let go of the gas,when its about to die the battery light comes up.im using a p28 ecu for now,the ecu is stock is not modded or anythin,the car ran fine with another stock p28 ecu .vtec was kicking in at 45k.do you all think is the ecu or do i have another problem.

 

i got the right ecu now,but still does the same thing.

 

Any cels? Check the tps and adjust if needed.

 

check your alternator.

the tps is fine.we took the car out the day we finished the swap an it ran fine,the next day its when it starded messin up,the only light that comes on is the battery light,so i think its the alternator

 

Check your map sensor and for any vacumm leaks

 

check all your grounds

 

If your battery light comes on it's a charging problem. Check the battery and alternator and replace as necessary.
