Default Major ECU problem

I have Kenjis p28 ECU and I cut one of the jumpers in the ECU so it would pass emissions (a talked to a few people who did this and they all said it worked fine). Well, now I just sodered the jumper back, reset the battery, let the car idle for 10 min, drove the **** out of it and it still isnt running properly. The exhaust sounds like a fart can and isnt nearly as deep as it normally is. The car is very slow. Vtec seems to have the same amount of power as my moms 4 door civic ex. There is no scream or punch to it at all. What can I do to get my car back to the way it was. I used a microscope to make sure that the connection was completely sodered so that isnt the problem. Anyone who has done this before or knows what I can do, please help!

Check it for codes first.

Where are you hitting rev limit at now?

Is your check engine light on?
