Default my ecu p28

how do i reset the ecu, to get rid of the light on the dash. i sorted out the problem but i cant seem to get the light to go off.

disconnect the negative battery terminal or unplug the ecu for 20-30 seconds.

Plug back in.

I thought it was to leave the battery unplugged (negative terminal) for about 15-30 mins, then plug back in.

15-30 minutes sounds excessive for two little resistors to lose their charge...

just unplug the ecu for a few seconds....it works for me everytime
