Default broken axle lsd

went to the drag and bust my axle. the driver side axle is broken by the hub. its spinning both in gear or out but what i don't understand is that even in gear my right axle is not sprinning. could it be a tranny problem.

When these cars break an axle the car will not move on it's own.

Replace the axle and let us know if the problem goes away.

Even with a Quaife when the right axle popped out the car would not move.

Put a good axle in the drivers side.

on gear type lsd, you need some resistance on both of the axles for the lsd to work, ie if you break an axles, that side no longer has any resistance for it to work.

only on clutch type lsd's will it still work if you break one side so you can drive

but even still that depends on how tight the clutches are.

a true spool is the only way a car will definately move if an axle is broken, unless the diff is welded, catastrophic failure yadda yadda.
