Default OBX LSD: How to get the axle out?

Ive been running an OBX LSD for quite a while and the fact that the axle was stuck was not a problem. We were able to work around it until now.

But now we need to take appart the tranny to change the bearings so I need to take the axle out.

How did you guys manage to do it?

I would just like a few tricks to take out the axle.... if thats even possible. lol

Maxime,

pull out the drivers side axle and half shaft and take a long thin punch through the hole of the diff and start hammering.

Yes if you can get one of the axles out you can put a 3/8" extension into the diff and pound the other side out.

I ground down a cheap *** 3/8 extension and used a sledgehammer. broke the splines off the end of the axle but didnt harm the diff. I then dissassembled it and chamfered the gear so it wouldnt happen again.

New OBXs are chamfered on both sides, no more axle sticking.
