93 civic cutting out (spark) ....car is all stock.
93 civic DX
This problem didnt start until it was getting warm outside. There are two problems i have run into so far. I also know that the tps is reading 1.5 volts at idle when it is supposed to read .5 which is why it probably idles at 1500rpm. Which just started a couple weeks ago. The car also has a 4k rev limit. A few week ago it was fine and would go over 4k. I dont know when the limit started to be 4k since i dont get on it very much....not like is goes anywhere when you do anyway.
First, one day i went to go start the car and it started and then died with in 3 seconds of running. I went to restart it and it wouldnt. I keyed it on and off a few times trying to listen for the fuel pump to prime and i didnt hear it. So i went to take the back seat out and probably 5 minutes went by and when i got the seat out i turned the key on and heard the fuel pump prime and it started right up. This has happened a few times and i though the pump might be at the end of its life so i pick another up from a buddie and installed it but, the problem still occurs from time to time. It even happend to me once when i was driving the car. After it died i waited a few minutes and it started right up.
The second problem.
While driving the car will cut off completely. It is defintly a spark cut. Its not the pump turning off. When it cuts off i pedal it a few times and it usually come back to life. When it cuts off i hear a relay clicking right before the car cuts out. It was real bad tonight on the interstate. It would cut off 4-5 times with in a few seconds and then drive fine for a few minutes and then i would do it agian. There are two relays in the fuse panel so i dont know if one of those is going bad or what. I couldnt tell for sure since i was in traffic but i believe i saw my head lights go out everytime the car would cut out.
I think what ever the problem is it is turning the car off. The spark is cut off and the fuel pump is turned off. I cant tell if the fuel pump is cutting off when i am driving since the spark cut happens first.
Any advice would be appricated.

bump....
its not the main relay. I swapped in the main relay from my sisters car and it still did it. It seems to happen a lot worse when its hot out side. I went driving last night when it was cool out and it only did it 3 times in probably a hour of driving. I am going to check my grounds next. The thermo housing ground is tight but i didnt ohm it out so that is what i am going to do next. I dont believe its the ignition switch either though because when i wiggle my keys when the car is running it doesnt cut out or anything.

I went ahead and resoldered a lot of the joints on my old relay. I also check all the grounds and they came out to be around 1.5-2 ohms. I made sure all the clips that plug into the relay were tight. It seems to be worse with heat. The next thing is to hot wire around the ignition switch to see if that fixes it, but first i am going to try to get a wiring diagram and ohm out all the wires that go to and from the relay. What controls the main relay....the ignition switch? I didnt see any loose wires under the dash while i was re-installing the relay.....intermittent problems are gay.
