Hot to bleed and burp your radiator?
This is how i do it, works everytime. take your radiator cap off and let the car run. Slowly air bubbles will start to creep to the surface, and squeez the hose. Then just add more fluid. take about 30 mins to do it. GL
I never heard the terms bleed or burp for a radiator..But by bleed I guess you mean drain so to drain it theres a small valve at the bottom of the radiator.just twist the little **** and it should drain out.

If you run the car without the radiator cap wont the liquid run out?Or is that just when its hot?

yeah it will start to over flow but the air will come out with it. I just keep adding more coolant as it goes low and untill i dont see anymore air bubbles.

Why is it bad to have air bubbles?Is it just because that makes room for steam to build up or what?

the techs have a filler here and it sits in a knock off radiator cap, what you do is fill it half way with coolant, start your car with the heat on high, and give it gas from time to time for about 15-20 min. thats how i do it
Along with taking off the radiator cap and running the car, you can also relieve pressure with the bleeder screw on the thermostat housing; that's actually how the service manual tells you to do it.
everytime you change coolant or do a flush u need to bleed the system for air bubbles. some engines don't have bleed valves....the bleed valves are located in the upper radiator hose housing. the drain plug is a bolt located behind the header. the drain **** is located underneath the radiator and it's a plastic piece with a ****-twister.
jack the front engine up as if u are doing an oil change in the garage. open radiator cap. make sure coolant reservoir is up to max. start the car. have the heater on. pour coolant into the radiator till it taps off. wait till bubbles and stuff steam out. the fan should turn on and the lower radiator hose should get warm...then hot. that means the thermostat opens and it should suck all the coolant u poured into the radiator down into the lower hose. it continues to cycle and all u do is tap off with coolant. u have to do this **** for like 30-45 minutes its a pain in the ***. make sure your radiator cap is good and has that lil dangly thingy.
