I think you drain the fluid and run the car with a hose running water through the system. Then refill it with new fluid. Not sure though.

the best thing to do when flushing radiator is to take it out and attach hose to the plug that fluid usually comes out of. So the radiator is flowing in reverse from when in car. reason for pulling radiator is cause it gets messy.

the real way is to remove the coolant drain plugs and your radiator cap and stick a hose in the radiator and start up your car and let water run through and pour out of the block. You could also just detatch the top radiator hose and angle it away from your engine and run the hose to the top of radiator- these 2 will flush your ENTIRE system, the other just flush the radiator
