Default Falling out of boost between quick shifts. Big cams?

Hey guys, i finally got my car all together & what not. I've got about 100 miles on it now with a street tune, just tryin to get it all preped for some dyno time.

The problem that i'm having is i'm falling out of boost between shifts, i have a feeling that it has something to do with my cams. It definatly didn't do it with my built non-vtec LS motor last year. My new setup is as listed below.

DART b20 block (9.0:1)
DART cnc ported head with oversized valves (in. 34mm / ex. 28mm)
Cams IN: .485, 252 / EX: .466, 262
Stock flywheel

not sure what other info would be relavant. Am i nuts to think that it might be due to the cam overlap? Lemme know if there is any other info that might u help me!

Trans is a b16.

Turbo - GT3582
Manifold - Homemade top mount (no probs last year)
Intercooler setup - JRC 8inch & 2.5 inch piping
Intake Manifold - Edelbrock victor x

I was shifting at about 8500 last night, i'm sure i'll be winding it up higher due to the built head, but i was being cautious right now.

no wonder "its falling out of boost" you are probably dropping a good 2500- 3500 rpm between gears, and its falling out of the "power band" if you rev it up another 2500 rpm everything should be peachy.

i guess it's just my paranoia getting the best of me. I'll take it up to 9000 tonight & see what it does.. & then move up from there. It's just taken me for ever to get this thing to where i have it now & i don't wanna hurt it! I guess thats what it's built for tho, time to give her hell. I wanna make sure everything is right before i take it to the dyno.

i recomend not doing what you are doing right now. that will ruin everything you just spent all that time and money on. boosting on an untuned car = big no no in my book. unless you are logging everything and checking the logs/checking plugs on it after every run, id be extremly weary of doing that. dont let your right foot get the best of ya !!

I've been making adjustments just about every time i get on the gas. I've been tuning it with crome pro. I've got a PLX wideband, & an Ostrich, along with my datalogging cable. I'm not that retarded!
