Supercharger > Crower Cams - Your thoughts?
Ive been tossing around cam application ideas here for the M45 setup on my B18B1, my redline is 7000rpm and i want to keep the power well under that. Ive been considering the 62402-2 cams, variouis people have told me that the 62402T-2 cams would be better suited for boost, however they dont seem to be too popular around here at all. Your thoughts on the subject?

Also, I had a thought that turbo cams would be the wrong choice for the supercharger because turbo cams are designed to build boost pressure faster because the turbo is spooled via exhaust gas, where as the supercharger is not....thoughts on this?

if i had to choose i would use the 62403's for boost. SC or turbo...404's if you are hardcore and plan to bring the redline up to around 8krpm.
the 402's are hardly better than stock. and the 402t's suck *****.

overlap is a good thing on honda engine's....that's what makes the top end power. as long as your are properly tuned the cams will work.
the 402t's have less (much less) overlap...they tend to make not so good top end power with "ok" low-mid range power.

found another set of cams from crane, surprisingly HUGE differences in terms of lift though
