So I was driving down the freeway and my ground from the engine had come loose (leaving me with no ground). Car was still running fine and then the motor cuts out. I replaced the ground. But now my issue is that my fuel pump will not turn on. I have checked the fuse, replaced the fuel pump relay, and replaced the fuel pump itself. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened? If you need me to answer any questions to help diagnos this problem let me know. Thanks in advance.
Are you getting power to the pump? If no, then you need to start tracing the circuit back untill you find the problem. Likely to be a bad wire.
Assuming that you are, theres a couple things to try thats quick and easy.
Sometimes when fuel pumps are on there way out, they need a kickstart of sorts. You can either try:
1). Try jump starting your car. I know that sounds a little crazy, but the extra voltage sent through can sometimes help get the pump turning
2). Have a friend turn your car into the ON position as you give the gas tank a few raps with a RUBBER mallet. With friend cycling key off and on, listen for pump priming. Again, sounds a little crazy, but this can help free up sticking brushes in the pump.
If these methods fix your problem and get your pump working, your going to need a new pump.

Do you hear your main relay clicking when you turn the key to the on position? That could have possibly gotten messed up when the ground came loose. The second click of it is for the fuel pump.
