Default fuel pump question

alright before people start assuming things, i've already checked on it and there was no real solid answer so ha.

the problem began when my fuel pump wasnt working properly. i changed the main relay twice with two known good ones but no help there. so instead i ran a wire from the accessories terminal thats under the dash to the fuel pump. this is where it gets messy. by accident both temp connections touched each other while the car was warming up and the car died. i checked the fuses and the 20amp was blown which i changed out promptly. but still no luck. i used another jumper wire from a battery to the fuel pump to see if it was still working and it was. so now everytime i try starting the car even with the fuel pump connected to a different power source, the car only cranks but doesnt wanna turn on. please guys let me know what i have to do to fix it. school starts next week and i needa ride
