if you get a fmic, woudn't blocking off the radiator end up in increased engine temp? Because of this i was thinking about removing my aux. lights on my sol and running some air conditioning vent pipes from home depot and routing it between the fmic and radiator. i know that it isn't that much air compared to the front air dam so i also thought about getting extra windshield wiper nozzles and teeing it off the main line to wet the radiator. also, how safe is it to tap into the vtec solenoid wire from the ecu? the "vtec" light is tapped into it right now and i was thinking about tapping the winshield nozzles too. if i did this, what would happen if i decided to spray my windshield from inside the car? wouldn't this send electric current into the pump then to the ecu and end up shorting it out? any other ways around this? are there things where it only allows electric currents to go one direction? and is it worth going through all this trouble or is the stock cooling sufficient? i know it sounds really **** about doing this but this is my first "major" mod on my car and i'm broke as it is so i really can't afford to blow my engine. better safe than sorry right? thanx.

 

That is what the fans are there for, to pull air through the radiator. KISS.

Its good that you are thinking, but you are over thinking things. Your biggest enemy is detonation.
