Turbo-Performance Prelude Manifold and 3" dp...
I ran across this... does anyone have any feedback on this company and the kind of quality these products are? They redesigned the manifolds 3yrs ago and havn't had one crack yet due to the new support braces, and the dp's are 3" and can also come nickel plated. manifold is made from "120 wall thickness mild steel equal length runners into a merge collector , flanges are laser cut out of half inch steel material." 500ish for both, but i am a firm believe in what sounds to good to be true usually is. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ask Apexii about it, I think he looked into that manifold a while back.

iit's up to you....they do have a warranty, but they only warrant the craftsmanship. They will give you so many excuses that you put the manifold on wrong, torqued the nuts in the wrong pattern, yadda yadda that you won't even wanna buy another manifold in your whole life

Re: Turbo-Performance Prelude Manifold and 3" dp... (GudeH23a)
Yep I looked into it, but after some discussion with some very reputable manifold makers, I was advised to stay away. I have a buddy who is a killer welder, makes nothing but manifolds & cages for a hardcore racing shop. He's helping me make a manifold and hopefully 3" dp. There is little to no clearance around the alternator, but it's been done so I know i'll get it to work.
I just got my own welder and I plan on fooling around with ideas to try to mimic their design. I think they mig weld them, does anyone know for sure? If I don't get anything working by the time my motor is finished the fmax mani goes back in and i'll do my own dp.
