ek motor harness
SI harness will work but you will need to consider that it doesnt have the plug for the IAB and depending what ECU your going to run you will need a jumper. Just stick with your stock harness and add the wires for vtec, knock and IAB, its not that hard to do just pick yourself up the civic/integra haynes manual and use the wiring diagram.
ey thanks for the info bro..its appreciated..but i have another ? for u.what is IAB and knock wires for and when u hook up the wires.do u start right from the ecu and run to where it need to go.im not reaaly sure how to hook it up...i have a 97 civic dx hatch. to run a/c with my gsr swap what would i need??

IAB is the intake air butterfly its plug is located under the Intake manifold behind cylinder 1 (black box with several vacuum lines going to it) only the GSR has it. Knock is in that same area but between cylinder 1 and 2 on the the block. IAB will use a 2 wire plug and Knock is a 1 wire plug. When I added the wires to my harness I stripped off all the split loom so that it could be covered and taped back up to look OEM. If you got a harness with your gsr your best bet it to make your DX harness look the same because there are also several wires you will need to extend to make them fit. Also you will have to change your IACV plug to a 2 wire plug this thread has all the info you need to change your IACV and also the pinout location you will need for the ECU https://honda-tech.com/zero...70114 . Also if the GSR is not OBD2 you will not be able to plug the alternator that came with it cause OBD1 alt has a different plug. You can swap out your injectors from your DX if the GSR is obd1 but the alt will not fit, you will also have to do the CKF bypass trick if the GSR is OBD1 and you plan on running an OBD2 ECU, here is the link for that http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm . Another thing is that the distributor plug is different on a b-series so what you can do is take the electronics out of your dizzy and swap them into the GSR dizzy housing. For A/C you will have to pick up a B16A2(civic) or A3(delsol) bracket and and pulley, you can use the pulley off gsr if it came with one but the one from your dx wont work, dont disconnect the a/c line or you will have to recharge the system. Hasport sells the AC bracket cheaper than Honda does. Ive also heard you can use a crv bracket but im not sure on this. Sorry that this is so long but I think it has all the info that you need as far as wiring and AC, it sounds like a pain but if your capable of swapping the engine yourself you should have no issues. Pick yourself up the Haynes manual it will definately be a lifesaver and it covers both civic and integra.

If your doing a GSR swap there is no harness that will just plug and play, you will have to add wires for IAB because only the GSR has it. So just take your harness and add all the wires you need and extend the wires that are short.
