when im in 4th gear driving down the road and i go to downshift to 3rd gear it wont go in. but if im in 4th and push the clutch in and put it into second then put it into 3rd and let the clutch out it will go in fine? do you guys think its my 3rd gear synro? let me know please

alright how hard is in to change the synro plus i plan on doing a ls fifth gear at the same time

 

does any one know if its difficult or not???

 

its not that hard if u know how to build a big puzzle.. just put it back together exactly as it was.. even how the synchro sits on the gears matters..

 

ok does anyone know where i can get a diagram of the transmission taken apart and the parts labeled so i know im changing the right synro
