Ok this is what happened all winter i had my car put away, I would start it 1-3 times a week but everytime i had to jump it using a jump box. then a few weeks ago i bought a new battery and now it doesn't start, the starter just makes one click and doesn't do anything after that. I bought a starter and installed it and had the old one tested and it still worked. After having the battery hooked up and also connecting a stronger jump box directly to the starter it turned over and started and ran fine but i turned off the car and tried it again without the jump box and it wouldn't start. I have a B16 turbo in a 91 crx with my battery relocated in the trunk. Any feedback will be much appreciated thanks

 

You had to constantly use a jump box to start the car all winter? Was it also connected directly to the starter? If the new battery is charged sufficiently and the jump box connected to the starter works, your relocation job has a problem. Either the wire gage is too light or you have poor connections along the way somewhere.

 

yea i needed it all winter but i never had to connect it to the starter only till recently after i got a new battery
