Default open dump pipe to closed loop?

what is better to run a open dump pipe or to route it into the exhuast ?? or is all in sound preff cuz i like the loudness of when the gate is ran on open pipe but then again i love to here the turbo spool?? some Opps please

I have done both and and I really dont think its much different sound wise one way or the other, but I did see better power results with open dump.

There's definitely a power gain with an open dump. And who doesn't like scaring people with some open wastegate?
