flex pipe on closed loop downpipe?
Hi, im adding in the part of my downpipe where the wastegate pipe cuts in.. Im going to go in once its straigh (under pan) and on like a 45deg angle..
The downpipe has a flex pipe, do i need a flex pipe for the wastegate as well?
It will be easier to do without.. but i dont want it cracking, im using 1.75" piping (mild) and 3" stainless for DP.
Thanks.

Yes you should run a flexpipe because there is a heat difference before the turbo (wastegate) and after the turbo (downpipe) and the flexpipe allows for expansion and contraction because the wastegate isn't open all the time, the pipe will rapidly heat up and cool down
