Okay, my motor is a slightly modded JDM H22.
After all of the other problems I've had with it, they're finally fixed except for one. Sometimes I notice some type of brutal cut out when I shift hard.
Like say for instance, going from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to third at 7,500rpm. . . You can hit the gear perfect but suddenly the engine just falls on its *** like it encountered a fuel cut or something. Been trying to figure this out for a while, but it only happens at random. So what are your ideas?

bump.... any suggestions?
I still have the stock fuel pump in. Could that be a potential problem?

If you are reving it that high, you may be hitting fuel cut right as you shift, so try shifting 100 rpm sooner, or get tuned, then you can know where your powerband is and where you really should shift.

It is dyno tuned. Chrome on a P28.... The rev limiter is set at 7900rpm, I normally shift at 7,500.
And it rarely cuts out that high... Its like right after you hit the next gear and you get ready to stomp the pedal again. As soon as you do, the engine falls on its *** sometimes.
And no, my gauges stay on. I know the tach will shut off if the ignition cuts out, so I figure its a fuel related issue...
