Default ecu question...

this has probably been covered already but.... what ecu's work with the jdm d15b v-tec motor? right now the ecu it is running on is a stock non v-tec ecu and i want to feel this "vtec" work(im a subaru guy, i mean no offense).

you're not going to feel much with a d15b...

P28 will work but will be slightly rich.
ideally the P08 is what you want. (but they are a little more difficult to find)

u wont feel any hp gain. and also u wont feel vtec poping on a single cam vtec engine

if anything you will hear v-tec kick in you wont really feel it.

Im running a p28 on my d16z6 with just an CAI, its running a bit rich, but i DEFF! feel vtec and ofcourse hear it. I think i got a good z6.

so you are saying that i can run on the non vtec ecu and it wont be any different? i wont feel "any" difference at all? surely it's gotta pull a little harder up top right?
