Is a/c even possible on H2B??
So after all the research it looks like hondas have run a belt for the a/c and ps and then one for the alternator. If doing a h2b makes you run a 3-rib single belt pulley how would it even be possible to have the compressor hooked up? I am new to hondas but am wanting to do this swap badly i just dont think i can live without a/c in phoenix. Any help will be appreciated and yes i already searched with no answers
Easiest way it could work is using the HCP h22 to d-series a/c compressor bracket. Only thing is that it is discontinued and it rarely pops up for sale.
I was in the process of doing this but I sold my h2b setup so it was never completed. This was for an H2B in and integra. This is what I did:
get the explicit speed h22 d-series upper alternator bracket.
get a p13 a/c bracket and a p72 a/c bracket and a/c compressor
mount the d-series alt bracket and alternator
mount the p13 a/c bracket to the motor
mount the b-series a/c compressor to the p72 alternator bracket
mock up the p72 alternator bracket up against p13 alternator bracket.
line up the alt pulley, crank pulley and a/c pulley.
tack weld the p72 alt bracket to the p13 alternator bracket.
this is where i stopped. I needed a fabricator to make 1 a/c bracket from the combined p13 and p72 brackets that was welded together. Then I sold the setup so it was never finished.
It might have been a tight fit for the compressor lines with the explict speed alternator bracket where it was located. The alt bracket would probably have to be modifed to make it mount a little higher to free up some room. I wish I could have finished it and got it working.

Thanks for helping guys!! So it would work off running the same belt for the alternator and crank? I was just worried it wouldnt charge the battery enough or have enough to run the compressor on just one belt. I have someone who will customize the bracket i was just making sure i could run 1 belt for everything. Also wanted to make sure if i did run 1 belt that it would clear every thing.

That's always a good place to be when you're doing custom fabrication. lol.
I'm sure it COULD work.
I requested some pictures a while back of the area so maybe I could start to fab up a bracket, but I got no help. I'm a Mech Eng. with access to a full CNC machine shop, but no one posted any pictures of their setup.
I'm not even going to think about doing an H2B if there's no AC. 95 with 100% humidity here in the summer, and I'm headed to work in a suit? F that, F that right in the A.

I work for baer brakes and a engineer said he would make the bracket for me so its going to get done. the only thing is moving it over a 1/2" to line up with everything since im using the alternator relocation bracket that moves it over.
I have found these pics of the a/c bracket

blah blah blah
I used to drive to work in a gutted flat black hatch in a shirt and tie everyday and I never thought it was that big of a deal.
And I live in Atlanta, so 95 with 100% is daily summer conditions.
